In the past, young girls of Sri Lanka didn’t get much freedom to go out and enjoy. But fetching water was one of their household chores which gave them a little freedom. This young girl meets a boy friend on her way back home from the spring well. The couple enjoy singing, forgetting their barriers to freedom.
