Renowned English literature teacher and artisan Nivandani Krishani Hettiarachchi is set to mesmerize Anuradhapura with her one-of-a-kind art exhibition “Blessings of Nature”, happening on October 10 and 11 at the National Holiday Resort, Jayanti Mawatha.
What makes her work truly special is her unique technique of using dried banana leaves as the sole medium of her artistic creations. From ancient Sri Lankan cultural themes to serene modern compositions, her art carries the warmth of nature, free of artificial colors.
Recognized with Presidential Awards, a Swarnabhimani Award, and a patent for her original style, Nivandani continues to redefine sustainable creativity.
